Alkalinity Builder/ PH Booster For Boiler
pH BOOSTER are of different types depends on Boiler Capacity and Pressure. Some are Hydroxy based, Amine based or Mixed (volatile) amine blend.
Description and Use:
AT-TREAT-571 is an alkalinity builder/ pH Booster used for increasing pH and maintaining the correct alkalinity in the boiler water. Alkalinity control is a vital part of any internal boiler water treatment. AT-TREAT-571 is useful for neutralizing any acid pick-up as well as maintenance of correct pH and alkalinity in boiler water.
AT-TREAT-571 is compatible with most chemicals used for total boiler water treatment programs.

Treatment and Dosage Requirement:
AT-TREAT-571 can be dosed as such or diluted if desired. It may be dosed directly to the feed tank and the product characteristics permit dosing with any conventional on line dosage pump.
The exact dosage will vary with operating conditions and water characteristics. Our engineers shall establish the exact requirement to maintain boiler alkalinity within limits.

Product Safety & Handling Information:
Avoid contact skin and eyes. Keep away from acids. Being a strong alkali it can cause burn. In case of contact with skin , wash with plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing and seek immediate medical attention. In case of contact with eyes, flush with plenty of water, cover affected eye with sterile pad and seek immediate medical attention. Wear gloves and goggles wherever appropriate.

Skin : Flood area with water for at least 10 minutes. Remove any contaminated clothing. Seek medical attention
Eyes : Irrigate thoroughly with clean water for at least 10 minutes. Cover affected eye with sterile eye pad and seek immediate medical attention.
Ingestion: Wash mouth thoroughly & drink plenty water. DO NOT induce vomiting. Seek immediate medical attention.

Description And Use :
Neutralising Amines are high pH chemical that can be fed directly to the feed water or steam header to neutralize the carbonic acid formed in the condensate (acid attak).AT-TREAT-579 distribution ratio is better than that of morpholine, ammonia and other similar amines therefore its efficiency of neutralizing aqueous solution containing CO2 is better. AT-TREAT-579 can be used at steam pressure up to 163 Bar (2400 psig) and temperature up to 590 oC. AT-TREAT -579 provides effective neutralization of acidic gases such as CO2 in the near end of a condensate system. AT-TREAT-579 reduces corrosive & formation of bearing deposits.
Advantages:
This helps in keeping heat transfer surfaces, steam traps etc. clean & improves boiler efficiency. AT-TREAT-579 reduces concentration of iron, copper and nickel in return condensate water. This reduces fouling of cation, anion resin from condensate polishing unit.

Description and use: Hardness in feed water is caused by the presence of calcium and magnesium salt. High hardness is the principle source of scale formation in a variety of processes involving heat transfer, such as boiler feed water heater, feed lines and economizers. Boilers are heavily scaled by precipitation of calcium &magnesium salt.
AT-treat-575 is an inorganic polyphosphate and used for boiler of any pressure, to precipitate calcium hardness as mobile phosphate sludge. AT-treat-575 precipitation of hardness salt in feed lines. It may be injected continuously to feed water containing hardness salts, without the formation of excessive scale in the the pipeline.

A phosphate reserve is normally maintained in boiler water, within set limits . The correct treatment level depends on operating conditions such as boiler pressure, the chemical characteristics of the water employed. AT-treat-575 can applied directly or diluted (preferably softening water or condensate).
AT-treat-575 is not corrosive to steel mixing tanks or dosage pump,in concentrated or diluted form . However if dosed directly to hot boiler shells, use a stainless steel injection fitting.
